Logging in via Google and Facebook

Let customers log in and log in with a Google / Facebook account. Scheduling appointments is therefore easy and fast. To activate the function, go to Settings > Customer Accounts.

Activation is only possible if user accounts are used and the function 'Only existing customers can make an appointment' is not checked. Two additional buttons are then displayed in the booking widget:

New customers

New customers can easily register via the 'Continue as a new customer' button. They then enter the customer registration form with two buttons at the top: Log in with Google and Log in with Facebook. Clicking on one of these buttons opens a pop-up in which the customer can log in to Google or Facebook.

A user account is then created and the customer is logged in immediately. The customer registration form is shown again to supplement any missing information. Because in the future the customer can log in every time via his or her Google / Facebook account, the customer will not receive a confirmation email from the user account.

If a customer tries to log in with a Google / Facebook account that is already linked to a user account, no new account will be created. The customer is then given the option to log in with the existing account.

If a customer has registered for the first time via Google or Facebook, the customer can log in to the next appointment by simply clicking on the correct login button. The customer is logged in immediately and the appointment can be made.

Please note: existing customers who have already been logged in via the old way cannot use the fast login with their current account. They can, however, register as a new customer. It is important that you subsequently merge the customer accounts.
