The idea behind OnlineAfspraken.nl is that consumers find it convenient to view and manage all their appointments with service providers in one central place. To achieve this goal, we have developed an API (Application Programming Interface) that allows appointments to be forwarded and collected centrally at OnlineAfspraken.nl. Service providers who want their customers to make appointments online can also integrate this service into their own website.

Who is this API for? 

The API is intended for IT companies that want to make use of the OnlineAfspraken.nl appointment system. IT companies that already have their own agenda can use the API to quickly and securely accept appointments via the internet. These appointments are placed into the existing agenda using the API, and available time slots can be made open for online booking. Customers continue working with their current agenda.

By using the API, the software can: 

• Open available times on the internet (visible both through the OnlineAfspraken.nl website and through the customer’s own website)
• Send appointment data to the online agenda
• Import new customer data
• Synchronize the online agenda with the local agenda

Our system is applicable for both solo practices (single agenda and employee) and group practices (multiple agendas and employees, customer, agenda, and appointment type connections, etc.) and supports regular, intake, and combined appointments. The API uses the REST protocol.

Requirements
