What is the Consumer environment?
The client environment is a personal online space where clients can manage their own appointments. Think of:
- Viewing or rescheduling booked appointments
- Cancelling appointments
- Viewing appointment history
- Booking a new appointment
This gives your clients control and flexibility—without creating extra work for you. Of course, you decide which of these features are available to your clients. For example, you can disable rescheduling or cancellations, and even choose whether or not to show your booking widget in the client environment. In other words: you stay in control as a business owner, while making things easier for your clients!
Insight in the client dossier
In addition to appointments, the client environment also provides insight into the client file. As a business owner, you can of course decide which parts are visible to your client:
- Forms (such as intake questions or evaluations)
- Attachments (like photos or documents)
- Notes (think appointment notes, discussed topics, or specific requests)
- Subscriptions and punch cards, including balances
You always decide what is visible. By default, all elements are disabled. When adding a note, you can specify whether it should be visible to the client. For existing notes, you can use the padlock icon in the client profile to indicate whether the item is visible to the client or not.
The client environment can be accessed via Settings > Inframe widgets > Client login page.
Pro tip: You can even leave a personal message for a specific client via a note — useful for a follow-up appointment or as a reminder. This way, you can share important information directly through the client’s own environment!
